A pioneer brewing leader in Nigeria reported a failure of a Schneider 160kW frequency converter at their Ijebu-Ode facility, which disrupted production. The faulty drive was brought to the Teknifix workshop for detailed diagnosis and corrective repair.

Following a detailed diagnostic assessment, Team Teknifix identified multiple component failures in the power section. These failures were confirmed through cold testing, continuity checks, and physical inspection of the power section.

The defective components were replaced with compatible OEM-standard spare parts. After repair, the drive was reassembled, tested, and validated to confirm stable operation before being delivered back to the client.

The scope of work executed included:

• Cold testing of input and output modules
• Continuity testing between phases and earth
• Detailed physical inspection of internal components and cabling
• Replacement of faulty parts with OEM certified spares
• Functional testing and verification

The repair was completed within schedule, restoring the frequency converter to OEM operating standards, improving equipment uptime, and eliminating the need for full drive replacement.
