A fault on a Siemens 480A power block disrupted the reliability of an FMCG drive system, leading to its transfer to the Teknifix workshop for detailed diagnostics and repair.

Following comprehensive diagnostics, Team Teknifix confirmed that some components in the input section were defective and required replacement. Corrective repair activities were immediately initiated to restore the unit to full functionality.

The project scope included:

• Cold diagnostic testing was performed to verify the electrical integrity of the drive
• Continuity testing to ensure no short circuit between phases and earth
• Detailed physical inspection of components and interconnecting cables
• Replacement of defective components with original Siemens parts
• Reassembly and functional verification of the power block

The repair was completed within 3–4 working days, restoring the Siemens power block to OEM operational standards. The intervention improved system reliability, reduced replacement costs, and minimized downtime for the client.
