A post-installation startup issue was identified on an ABB ACS880-07-0725A-3+E200+L503-P cabinet drive at our client’s facility. The unit was brought to our workshop for detailed inspection and programming support. Teknifix team performed a full diagnostic assessment to identify and rectify the issue, followed by parameter configuration and calibration using ABB ACS master control panel. After programming and optimization, the drive was successfully tested with a suitable electric motor and operated smoothly under load.

The project included:

• Cold diagnostic testing was performed to verify the electrical integrity of the drive.
• Continuity testing between phases and ground was conducted to rule out short or earth faults.
• Visual inspection to ensure all components and cable connections were properly secured.
• Fault identification and correction
• Drive parameterization and optimization for correct motor operation.

The project has been completed and the on-site commissioning under load was successful.
